Our shop and philosophy

Metta means loving-kindness. The word ‘Metta’ comes from Pali, a language used in early Buddhist texts. At Metta Massage, we strive to incorporate the philosophy of ‘metta’ in a caring, friendly and professional environment.

We offer massages in different styles – Relaxing Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Therapeutic Massage, Sports Massage, Foot Reflexology, Hot Stone Massage and Pregnancy Massage. Our massage therapists are trained locally and overseas and together they bring a wealth of experience to tailor the massage to meet your needs and preference. We are also mindful that you enjoy a memorable overall experience – top notch massage, excellent customer service in a relaxing ambience.

We are located in Howick, East Auckland. We are a trusted name for massage therapy services and have been serving the community in East Auckland since 2012.

In October 2023, we expanded our business and opened a new shop in the Auckland CBD. We will continue to provide the level of service and professionalism that customers are accustomed to with the name Metta Massage.
